Had enough of Fakesville

Yep, I'm over Las Vegas now. Still glad I came here though, because it is a spectacular sight in its own right, but only for a very short time. Gordon met an older American couple this morning from Ohio who had given up seeing any of the National parks things they'd come down this way for, and had somehow wound up in Vegas and had been here for two weeks. Two weeks!! Twenty hours and I'm done and that includes sleep time. But each to their own.

We're right on Central Strip, which is a bit like a plastic Oxford Street with other bits attached.

We walked one side then back up the other, which took us about four hours, wandering into hotels and places as we went, looking at anything that interested us. Stuff is just where it is because that's where it was put. Here goes with some photos:

The Harley cafe just along the Strip..........

A Parisian street scene............

Marble Arch.............

Venice.....( but the water is much cleaner in Vegas)

A Roman escalator.......

A posh shoe shop.......

Inside Caesar's Palace.......

And a few of the locals........
